I finally got to watch this series and in all honesty, I didn't really like it all that much. Don't get me wrong. I liked the artwork, the characters (except for that whiny Shinji), and the concept, but all the philosophical/psychological stuff just ruined it for me. Also, the fight scenes could have been longer. Oh well.
