(This fanfic is awful. It's got cliches, OOCs, and the plot... well, let's just say it's real baaaad. In my defense, I wrote this a million years ago. If you wish to laugh at my expense, please go ahead and read this piece of... Ehehe. When I have the time and the inspiration, I'll revise this.)

"No!!!" a piercing scream could be heard as Chaos struck the final blow against her protectors. One by one, the Senshi collapsed, their battered bodies seemingly lifeless. Serenity ran towards them, her whole being in extreme agony. "Minna, you didn't have to do this. Please don't leave me. I can't bear to lose all of you," was all she could say.

"Don't cry, Serenity-hime. We will always be with you," Saturn whispered. Serenity cradled the child's head and smiled, but tears continued to flow down her pale cheeks. She looked upon the others and was greeted with smiles.

"Yeah Odango, we'll see each other again," Mars assured her.

"Usagi-chan, I'm sorry we couldn't protect you anymore," Mercury said.

"If we hadn't met you Usagi-chan, we would have been so lonely," Jupiter said.

"Arigato for being a great friend," Venus added.

"Koneko-chan, don't be so sad. Neptune, Pluto and I wouldn't want that," Uranus said. Neptune and Pluto nodded.

Serenity looked at her dearest friends one more time as their bodies disappeared. She didn't want to disappoint them by going against their wishes. A faint smile appeared on her lovely face when she felt their powers merging with hers. A flash of pure and blinding white light slowly encased her. In its wake, Serenity's appearance had changed. Instead of having blonde hair, she now had silvery hair. The crescent moon birth mark on her forehead was now surrounded by eight colourful stars, each representing the fallen senshi. Her attire had also changed. She was now wearing white fuku with silver trims. Her heart-shaped brooch was replaced with a star crystal and now nestled in her silver bow. In her right hand she held a long tier, similar to her old one when she was Eternal Sailor Moon, but more powerful.

Her smile turned into a frown when she sensed her enemy. "Chaos, show yourself!" she shouted.

"Thought you got rid of me, didn't you?" he hissed. "Your pathetic guardians couldn't harm me."

"But I can," she replied. An image of her Mamo-chan flashed into her mind. He was the first one to perish. Before his body completely vanished, however, he had told her that he would always love her and that she had to move on. 'Aishiteru Mamo-chan.'

"Thinking about your Prince, ne? He was such a weakling!" Chaos snickered.

"I am Sailor Cosmos, ruler of the entire universe. I alone have the power to obliterate you." she stated, traces of emotions gone from her voice. She placed her tier in front of her and whispered, "Cosmic Destruction." (I know it's pretty lame ^^;) A white light shone from the tier and engulfed Chaos.

"You haven't defeated me. I exist in the deepest recesses of man's mind. I will always come back!" it shrieked until it was gone.

Cosmos knew it was telling the truth. Chaos will never be completely destroyed. All she can do is weaken it temporarily. She sighed then willed her Ginzuishou into existence. The gem hovered in front her. She cupped it with her left hand and wished to be brought to the future, where Chaos would nurse itself until it was strong enough to fight again.
