Welcome to the fanlisting for the relationship between Chiba Mamoru, TSUKINO USAGI, and Kou Seiya of the ever famous anime, Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon! If you're a fan, please, won't you consider joining?

Here's some info, just in case you've forgotten about these three characters:

Chiba Mamoru and Tsukino Usagi were the main couple in Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. They were soulmates: Prince Endymion of Earth and Princess Serenity of the Moon, their past selves, were lovers. They died because the malicious Queen Beryl invaded the peaceful Moon Kingdom in an attempt to usurp the throne. Queen Serenity, one of the survivors in the bloody war, couldn't bear the loss of her daughter and her court so she used the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou to send them a thousand years into the future to be reborn.

Mamoru and Usagi didn't fall in love in their second lives easily. In fact, Usagi considered him her archenemy. You see, he was never nice to her. He teased her a lot when it came to her grades, her hairstyle, her eating habits, et cetera, et cetera. (Of course, Usagi was mean to him too.) The only time they weren't hostile to each other was when they were fighting the Dark Kingdom as Tuxedo Kamen and Sailormoon. They didn't know about each other's alter ego and/or their history as lovers until Zoisite tried to kill them.

Mamoru and Usagi faced many obstacles (Seijuurou and Natsumi, Black Lady, Demondo, Fiore, Fisheye, Neherenia) together but they remained true to each other. (So much so that in the thirtieth century, they ruled Crystal Tokyo as King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity. Chibiusa was their child.)

Enter Seiya. In Stars, the fifth and final season, Seiya pursued Usagi when Mamoru left to continue his studies in America. Seiya was obnoxious to Usagi at first, but he fell in love with her as he got to know her better. Usagi was oblivious (or perhaps she had an inkling that he had romantic feelings for her but she just ignored them) of his love for her. Mamoru was her heart and soul and no other man could replace him. That was why Seiya said those infamous words -- "Am I not good enough?" -- over and over on the school rooftop after Tin Nyanko ambushed her.

When Galaxia was defeated and those who perished, including Mamoru, were reborn (thanks to Usagi's neverending love and hope), Usagi was so happy. She missed her Mamo-chan so much, after all. Seiya, realizing that Usagi would never reciprocate his feelings, finally conceded defeat to Mamoru.

FYI, Mamoru and Seiya only interacted in episode 200. Before leaving for Kinmoku with Princess Kakyuu and his fellow Lights, Seiya told Mamoru to protect Usagi. Mamoru said he would.
